iPad Air 13-inch (M3)
The 13-inch Air is the sweet spot for most people who want a big, capable iPad without paying Pro money. You give up the OLED screen and the very fastest chip, but the M3 is still far more power than typical browsing, note-taking, and light editing demand, and the large laminated display is excellent for split-screen work. If you want a productivity-leaning iPad and can live with a 60Hz LCD, this delivers most of the Pro experience for several hundred dollars less.
A fair price, not a deal — it's 7.2% above its 12-month low, right around its 90-day average, and it dropped 1.3% this month.
- Strong M3 performance for the price
- Large laminated display great for multitasking
- Supports the latest Apple Pencil Pro
- Long Apple software support window
- 60Hz screen feels dated next to rivals
- No OLED or ProMotion
- Accessories add meaningfully to cost
