Arc B770
The Arc B770 is Intel's step-up Battlemage card, positioned for high-refresh 1080p and solid 1440p gaming with a roomy 16GB frame buffer that comfortably outlasts the 8GB cards in its price band. It builds on the maturing XeSS upscaling and improved ray-tracing hardware, and its larger 256-bit memory bus gives it noticeably more bandwidth than the B580. It remains a value-oriented alternative to the mainstream NVIDIA and AMD cards rather than a performance leader, and as with all Arc cards it rewards buyers who play mostly modern, well-supported games.
A good time to buy — it's 2.6% above its all-time low, 5.8% below its 90-day average, and it dropped 2.5% this month.
- 16GB VRAM at a competitive price
- Wide 256-bit bus boosts bandwidth
- Mature XeSS upscaling and better ray tracing
- Trails NVIDIA and AMD in raw efficiency
- Driver quirks linger in some older titles
- Limited availability inflates street prices
