The S90D is Samsung's mainstream OLED and the natural cross-shop to LG's C4, built primarily around a QD-OLED panel that uses quantum dots to deliver richer, more saturated color and slightly higher brightness than traditional WOLED.

The one catch worth knowing is panel-lottery: depending on size and region the S90D ships with either QD-OLED or WOLED, so check the spec before you buy if the quantum-dot color is the reason you want it. Notably, Samsung still omits Dolby Vision in favor of HDR10+.
