Soundcore Liberty 5
Anker's Soundcore Liberty 5 is the bargain-hunter's overachiever, delivering features that used to be flagship-only, adaptive ANC, LDAC hi-res, wireless charging, and a marathon battery, for well under a hundred dollars on sale. The Soundcore app is famously generous, with HearID custom tuning, a deep EQ, and toggles for nearly everything, and the bundled spatial-audio mode is a fun extra. The sound leans bass-heavy out of the box and the build feels plasticky next to premium rivals, but if you want most of what the big names offer at a fraction of the cost, this is the sweet spot.
A good time to buy — it's 6.3% above its 12-month low, 8.7% below its 90-day average, and it dropped 1.2% this month.
- Flagship features at a budget price
- Long battery life with wireless charging case
- Generous app with HearID tuning and full EQ
- Plasticky build versus premium rivals
- Default tuning is heavily bass-forward
- ANC is good but not class-leading
