How RipeBuy works
RipeBuy answers one question most shopping sites skip: is now actually a good time to buy? We track how a product's price moves over time, lay out the specs that matter, and turn it into a clear verdict — including when to wait.
The Buy-timing Score
A product earns a 0–100 score only with a fresh, in-stock offer, at least 14 observed days in the last 90 days, and a comparison observation from 30–37 days ago. Suspect observations withhold the score:
- Where today's price sits in its range (50%).
- Price versus its average (35%).
- Recent momentum (15%).
Bands: 80–100 Buy now, 62–79 Good time, 42–61 Fair — wait, 0–41 Hold off. The score reflects price timing for the cheapest eligible retailer in the selected market. Different markets and retailers have different histories.
Markets & data
You're viewing the 🇰🇷 South Korea market (KRW). Prices come from live retailer and price-comparison sources — e.g. Naver/Danawa/Enuri in Korea, 価格.com/Rakuten in Japan, Idealo/eBay in Europe, and Newegg/eBay in the US — and are checked on a daily schedule. Only offers observed within 72 hours are eligible as current prices; stale and unavailable offers are marked. Display amounts are converted using catalog exchange rates and rounded. The final price, options and shipping must be checked at the retailer.
