The S8 MaxV Ultra was Roborock's 2024 flagship and remains a heavily sold premium pick across European retailers, often discounted well below the Saros generation while keeping nearly all the automation that matters. It delivers 10,000 Pa suction, a dual-roller brush that resists hair tangles, and Roborock's FlexiArm side brush plus an extending mop pad that reaches into corners and along baseboards. The RockDock Ultra station empties the bin, refills and washes the mop pads in hot water, hot-air dries them, and refills clean water, so hands-on maintenance drops to roughly monthly. Reactive AI obstacle avoidance with a front camera is dependable. The dock is large and water plumbing is optional, but as a do-everything combo it is a European mainstay.
