How RipeBuy works

RipeBuy answers one question most shopping sites skip: is now actually a good time to buy? We track how a product's price moves over time, lay out the specs that matter, and turn it into a clear verdict — including when to wait.

The Buy-timing Score

Every product gets a 0–100 score from its recent price history:

• Where today's price sits in its range (50%).
• Price versus its average (35%).
• Recent momentum (15%).

Bands: 80–100 Buy now, 62–79 Good time, 42–61 Fair — wait, 0–41 Hold off. The score reflects price timing and is the same in every market; only the displayed prices, currency, and retailers change.
